Swimming and recreation are popular at Erin Park, located on the east shore of the lake. The designated swimming area features a well-maintained change house with showers for visitors to enjoy after a refreshing swim. Just steps from the beach, Erin Park offers a welcoming space for families and friends to gather beneath the shade of a beautiful oak tree, enjoy a picnic and let children explore the playground equipment.

For those seeking a quieter escape, Centennial Park, situated along the lake’s bay, offers a peaceful setting to take in the scenery. It’s an ideal spot to watch pelicans during the season or admire the vibrant colours of the changing leaves in autumn.

Camping and lakeside stays are a favourite way to experience Killarney Lake. Kerry Park, located on the north side of the lake, offers more than 100 serviced campsites, along with boat-launching and docking facilities, showers and washrooms. The Killarney Agricultural Campgrounds, conveniently located across the street from the main beach, provide another great option for campers who want to stay close to the water and enjoy easy access to the beach.

Killarney Lake remains a hub of activity in every season. During the winter months, the frozen lake becomes a popular destination for ice fishing and skating, offering even more ways to enjoy the outdoors.
