The J.A.V. David Museum is located in Killarney, Manitoba. We are a non-profit organization, incorporated and registered as a Canadian Charity. We are administered by a Volunteer Board of Directors, governed by a signed constitution.
Our museum contains many pioneer artifacts donated by the local community. Exhibits include the Charles Havelock Natural History Display, Tools from the farm, School & Church History. Pioneer living room, kitchen & dining room. Edwards Studio Camera display,& World War 1& 11 exhibit. Exhibits are changed regularly. The museum also holds the Killarney Archives. The museum has been in operation since 1960.
This museum is an exciting place to come and learn about the history of Killarney and Turtle Mountain area of Manitoba. The museum is a member of the Association of Manitoba Museums, Canadian Museum Association & The Manitoba Archives Association.
